was night now. The day was long but it was finally over.
reigned in the corridors hushed silence of the typical intensive care units. Only every now and then hurried footsteps and decided to break that silence and passes that they knew exactly where to go. Gideon
envied that assurance, he seemed to not be able to recognize the distinction between what was and what was not done.
That was why he had waited so long to go see him. And even at that time felt the need to escape, as if the green walls of the hospital will close on him. He had never suffered from claustrophobia until that very moment. Since he left the FBI he had felt well and had not questioned his choice.
But what had happened he could not ignore it.

- Gideon, are Reid. Hotch was injured the explosion of a bomb. It 's very serious. Seemed right to let you know. -

It was cold, Spencer. Despite being the only one who had explained how he felt, was what he felt most betrayed. And the short message impersonal that he had left his office he was confirmed.
He waited three days before deciding to leave for New York. Even now he could not understand whether he had made the right choice. He could not enter the room where he was hospitalized, he could only observe from behind glass.
But until that time had not yet found the courage, and waited, sitting on an uncomfortable plastic chair, the sun went down and all went away. He had expected the darkness to bring him some answers.
The other team came to find out one at a time, but the case was brought in that bed Hotch sterile absorbed all their energy and required their full attention. It was easy to avoid them. It was even easier to convince the staff of the department to be an FBI agent and still have every right to be there at night.
And so it was left, fighting the urge to go again, against the desire to leave everything behind, looking for the strength to get up and go see it.
It was already dawn when detached from the plastic warm and eventually headed toward the glass.
Hotch was almost invisible under the pipe that connected to the respirator, covered in bandages that wrapped his head. He looked so fragile.
- I did not know if you would come. -
Reid, cold and treacherous, had arrived behind him without noticing.
- You should not have doubted. - Replied without taking his eyes from the bed.
Reid shrugged. - For Garcia did not you come. - Said then.
Gideon nodded. - Hotch called me to inform me and I begged him to keep me updated. Penelope went back when I telephoned to inform me of his condition and gave her a bulletproof vest. He found it very funny and sent me a nice e-mail. -
between the two men fell silent, as they watched the chest rise and fall rhythmically connects through a machine.
- But he could not ignore it. He is Hotch. - The only way to explain
Hotch was the silence, every word was too much for a man so reserved and taciturn. Gideon Reid understood perfectly what he meant.
Hotch was the one who always knew everything about each other without asking anything, was what I explained to them the way to go with a few words spoken at the right time. All of them had support and encouragement from him.
Hotch could not be ignored.

*** 's almost finished my last week in my current job. Saturday we close for holidays and I'll say goodbye to all my colleagues ... This makes me a bit 'sad because it was a really nice environment where they work and I will miss it seriously.
So I moved it closer by the day and I am undecided between happiness and anxiety. I mean, I barely know where the supermarket and I have not the faintest idea where the nearest library. And I do not know anyone! All right, all this can be remedy, however, is a strange feeling. I will spend quite a lot 'of time on the shores of the popular web!
